Application Requirements
UIC has many options appropriate to your succeeding degree.
To apply appropriate to Second Bachelor’s admission, the subsequent requirements necessity be met:
- Apply using the UIC mesh application. Printed applications will not be accepted.
- The $60 nonrefundable application price or price waiver.
- Official college/university transcripts*, submitted electronically or via mail, from every college/university you’ve attended.
- Personal statement indicating why you are pursuing a succeeding bachelors degree rather than pursuing a graduate-level degree is required.
- Please letter that applicants looking to complete prerequisite coursework appropriate to receive a degree together with qualified programs will not be admitted as a succeeding bachelor applicant together with should apply as graduate non-degree students.
Second Bachelor’s applications are reviewed on a case-by-case system via the subsequent colleges:
- Applied Health Sciences
- Architecture, Design & the Arts
- Engineering
- Liberal Arts & Sciences**
- Nursing***
- School on Public Health
- Urban Planning & Public Affairs
Preference in most colleges is to award seats to students pursuing their first degree. If you keep already earned two or new Bachelor’s degrees or a receive a degree level degree, apply for graduate admission.

Other Requirements
Additional requirements may apply to the subsequent applicants:
- International applicants. Must meet the core transfer requirements as well as display evidence on English competency together with financial certifications. See Undergraduate International Admissions Requirements for details.

International Credential Evaluation Fee. A mandatory, non-refundable $50 International Credential Evaluation Fee is assessed appropriate to all undergraduate degree-seeking applicants who keep post-secondary coursework taken outside the United States. International applicants who keep individual U.S. coursework are not prescribed to submit this fee. Study abroad coursework via U.S. students is excluded from this policy. The price is assessed on one occasion per appeal term. Payment on the price will be requested online through the application system.
